Sammy Watkins, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

DraftKings Price: $4,000

Projected Points: 9.91

Projected Value (points per $1,000): 2.48

As mentioned earlier, the cold temperatures expected in KC could see a majority of the ownership come onto the the NFC teams this weekend. However, there are some very solid value options in the second game, and one of them is Sammy Watkins, who returned in the Divisional Round for the Kansas City Chiefs and was an immediate impact player.

The receiver played for 93% of the snaps after missing the final six regular season games. Watkins hardly missed a beat on Saturday. Patrick Mahomes had an eye for him, targeting the receiver eight times, which accounted for 20% of Mahomes' throws. Watkins was able to reel in 75% of his targets and notch 62 receiving yards while playing 93% of the snaps.

With solid usage in an awesome offense, Watkins is appealing at this price tag.

In the first meeting with New England, Watkins was held to 18 yards and 2 grabs. Also in that game, Tyreek Hill went off for 7 catches, 143 yards and 3 touchdowns. New England coach Bill Belichick is known for selling out to stop the best weapon on the opposing offense. If the Pats focus their defense on Hill and/or Travis Kelce, it could open up additional looks for Watkins, who saw just four targets in the regular season contest.

Also, it's worth mentioning that the Chiefs like to utilize Watkins in the running game. Watkins was given a carry in 4 of his 10 regular season outings. Earlier in the campaign, he had games with 31 and 20 rushing yards, but he hasn’t rushed for more than 2 yards in a game since Week 3. Still, it's another way KC tries to get the ball in his hands.

Watkins will probably see less ownership than Ginn does, and he's a direct pivot off the Saints' wideout.
