If you are looking for a cheap wide receiver play, there's a decent amount of options on this slate -- but one to consider avoiding is Michael Crabtree of the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite winning six of their last seven games, this attack has been heavily rushing focused, passing the ball only 165 over that time frame. That's good for a 0.34 pass-to-run ratio, easily the lowest in the league -- as the only team to finish with a ratio under 1.00 was the Seattle Seahawks. There's just not a ton of passing volume right now.
When the Ravens do drop back to pass, it won't be an easy chore. The Los Angeles Chargers defense ranks 7th per our metrics, and they are placing plenty of heat on opposing quarterbacks, notching seven sacks in their last three contests.
Crabtree could seem to size up as an interesting pivot play, but with only three combined catches in the last three weeks, he doesn't look to be a solid bet on Wild Card weekend.
