Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo Ownership: 42%

Jackson is over the ownership cutoff to be our top choice, but he's well worth covering since he's still free in almost 60% of leagues, so he could help a lot of you.

Obviously, this works only if the Baltimore Ravens opt to keep Jackson as their starter, and it sounds like he will be under center for at least Week 13.

If he winds up starting for the rest of the year, Jackson is primed to be a fantasy difference maker as Baltimore has games against the Falcons, Chiefs and Buccaneers over the next three weeks. All of those are pretty dope matchups for quarterbacks.

Jackson's running ability -- and the Ravens' willingness to run him -- makes him an extremely unique fantasy asset, giving him a massive ceiling as well as a nice floor. Over two starts, the rookie has amassed 37 carries, 190 yards and a score on the ground plus 328 passing yards, another touchdown and 2 picks through the air. For reference, James Conner has 35 total opportunities (carries plus targets) over the last two weeks, and Conner doesn't also, you know, play quarterback.

As long as Jackson is starting, he's going to be on the QB1 radar, and that's especially true against an Atlanta team that's allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
