Baker Mayfield Notched His 5th Consecutive Game With Multiple Touchdown Passes

It’s safe to say that Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield woke up feeling dangerous again ahead of his team's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mayfield completed 19 of his 26 pass attempts for 258 yards and 4 touchdowns, with 3 of the scores coming before the half.

Sunday marked the fifth consecutive game with at least two touchdown passes for Mayfield. He is the first Browns quarterback with such a streak since Vinny Testaverde back in 1995 and only the third in franchise history.

Mayfield was a picture of efficiency, according to numberFire's metrics. He finished the game with 0.88 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back, his second impressive showing in a row. Over the last two weeks, Mayfield has amassed 0.92 Passing NEP per drop back.

Next up for Mayfield and the Browns is a road trip to the Houston Texans, where he may not find the going so smoothly
