Chris Herndon, New York Jets

Coming off a bye, Chris Herndon finds himself available in over 90% of leagues despite producing like a top-12 tight end since Week 6.

The New York Jets’ rookie has posted 53.0 PPR points (10.6 per game) since scoring his first career touchdown against the Colts five games ago. He has scored two more times in the four games since. Over his last two games -- with two different quarterbacks -- Herndon averaged 4.0 targets, 3.5 catches, and 48.0 yards per game. That totals up to 8.3 PPR points per game, good enough for a TE2 (top-24) finish on the season. His matchup in Week 12 against the New England Patriots, has the potential to push Herndon up to TE1 range this Sunday.

The Pats struggled to reign in tight ends, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the position. Their defense has surrendered 21 passing touchdowns in 10 games, the sixth-most in the NFL, with one-third of them going to tight ends. Only the Carolina Panthers have allowed more tight end touchdowns than New England.
