Saquon Barkley Scored 35.2 PPR Points

Even with a two-game winning streak, the 2018 season has not been a vintage one for the New York Giants. The debate as to whether they should have taken a quarterback with the second overall pick in this year’s draft will occupy scholars for years to come, but that doesn’t mean the G-Men can’t enjoy the player they did take in the spot.

Running back Saquon Barkley enjoyed a career day on Sunday, rushing for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding another score through the air. He posted 35.2 PPR points, the highest score for a running back in Week 11. It marked the ninth time in the first 11 weeks that Barkley scored 20 or more PPR points, the most of any rookie since 1999. Barkley is the sixth rookie in NFL history with at least 1,200 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns in their first 10 career games.

Barkley is the first Giants rookie to score on the ground and through the air since 1982, when Butch Woolfolk managed it in the team's Week 13 win over the Houston Oilers. The Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles this week, and the Eagles once-stout run defense has started to break down of late. Barkley could be in line for another monster game
