Home Shootouts are Kind to James White

James White has established a new role within the New England Patriots offense. He currently leads all running backs with 344 Air Yards and is on pace to set the record for Air Yards by a running back. His 76 targets and 57 receptions are also league-high marks at the position. The Patriots host the Green Bay Packers this week in a game with an enormous 56.5-point over/under.

When White is at home, with a total of 46 points or more, he's been at his best, scoring an additional 4.4 fantasy points per game. In games with lots of scoring, White sees a boost in receiving work to the tune of an extra 1.5 receptions and 13.3 receiving yards. He also finds the end zone .3 more times per game in this split.

With Sony Michel either limited or entirely unable to suit up (check in on injury updates with our News Tool), White's short yardage receiving game may have to be the substitute for a rushing attack again this week. Already in a good spot, White is a top-five value play at the running back position for $7,800.
