4 DraftKings Studs to Target in Week 9

The Los Angeles Rams are visiting New Orleans Saints in what should be a very competitive and exciting Week 9 matchup. Currently, the Rams are 2-point underdogs and have a 29-point implied total, while the Saints possess the highest implied total of the week (31 points). It's the first time all season that the Rams have not been the Vegas favorite.

If not for the implied value at the quarterback position, Todd Gurley might be getting Most Valuable Player votes for his 2018 season. However, we all know that this is an unlikely possibility due to the quarterback position dominating the award for the past decade and the potential for that trend to remain in tact for the foreseeable future.

But I digress, Gurley is still incredibly valuable to the DFS community. For some reason his price tag actually decreased for a third consecutive week on DraftKings, as he's priced at just $9,500 for Week 9. He's been slightly better on the road this season as evidenced by his 32.53 DraftKings points per game when not in front of his home crowd.

Not a lot needs to be said are dissected as to why Gurley is a great play, but in addition to the price drop he owns our third highest projected value (3.20), has the highest market share over the last three weeks (42.03%), and is our highest projected running back by a full 6.02 points.
