Ito Smith, RB, Atlanta Falcons

It feels like a stretch to say that Ito Smith is a "sleeper", but he's still on the waiver wire in 50% of Yahoo leagues, and you should go make sure that's not the case in yours.

With Devonta Freeman (groin) on the injured reserve, it's Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith divvying up the work available in the Atlanta Falcons backfield.

The last two games Freeman missed (Weeks 4 and 6) saw Smith on the field for at least 43% of the team's offensive snaps, which isn't far behind the 57% mark that Coleman hit in each of them.

Smith isn't likely to usurp Coleman as the lead back, but he's getting enough volume as the second-fiddle to make him viable in fantasy. In Week 6 he notched 11 carries and 2 targets, building on the 7 carries and 3 targets he saw in Week 4.

Pushing towards a 50% snap share in an offense that boasts the week's third-highest implied total (29.75 points), Smith is a strong play this week while also being a guy that you will likely get multiple starts out of over the rest of the season.
