Keke Coutee has 11 Receptions in his NFL Debut

Week 4 was certainly a memorable week for rookie wide receiver Keke Coutee of the Houston Texans. Coutee made his NFL debut, the Texans enjoyed their first victory of the 2018 season, and the youngster played a crucial part in the win.

Coutee converted 15 targets into 11 receptions for 105 yards against a previously stingy Indianapolis Colts defense in Houston's 37-34 victory. His 11 catches were the most in NFL history for a player appearing in their first game. The record was previously held by Anquan Boldin, who reeled in 10 catches in Week 1 of the 2003 season for the Arizona Cardinals.

Only 11 players have caught at least eight passes in their first NFL game. Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen was the last player to do so, back in Week 1 of the 2017 season. The last wide receiver to achieve this was Demaryius Thomas of the Denver Broncos, when he amassed 8 grabs for 97 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 of the 2010 campaign.
