Kerryon Johnson, RB, Detroit Lions

A breakout player from last week's Patriots loss, Kerryon Johnson saw 16 carries (twice as many as his previous season-high), which he turned into 101 yards. He added 3 targets in that one, and has yet to see fewer than 3 targets in a game this season (averaging 4.0 per).

He still doesn't seem to have fully separated himself from LeGarrette Blount on the depth chart, as Blount also notched 16 carries in that game, but with the big difference in efficiency between the two, that should not take long.

Johnson leads the team with an average of 0.15 Rushing NEP per carry, compared to a brutal -0.19 mark from Blount. Over half of Johnson's carries (51.7%) have generated positive NEP, while only 25% of Blount's have.

With Johnson being so efficient, there's little incentive for Detroit to continue sharing the work evenly between these two, and we should see Johnson's role continue to increase.

His matchup isn't anything special this week, taking on the Dallas Cowboys, but volume is king, and it's hard to pass up a guy with clear lead-back upside at this price point.
