Corey Clement, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Yahoo Ownership: 61%

With both Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles missing Week 3, the Philadelphia Eagles certainly needed someone to step up in their backfield, and Corey Clement could fill a prominent role in this offense moving forward.

Despite Wendell Smallwood stealing a rushing touchdown from Clement, the workload was promising, as he outpaced Smallwood in touches by a margin of 19 to 13. If coach Doug Pederson and crew also peek at last year's efficiency, Clement should continue to gain a majority of the work. In 2017, Clement carried the ball 74 times, posting a Rushing NEP per carry mark of 0.11, while Smallwood was largely inefficient with a clip of -0.16 over 47 carries.

It remains to be seen how long Sproles and Ajayi will be out, but if they sit for an extended absence, it looks like Clement is the back we want to own.
