A Teammate to Shine & A Quarterback to Sign

Will Fuller Will Outscore DeAndre Hopkins

The Texans take on the Giants, who appear destined to be without cornerback Eli Apple. B.W. Webb will move outside and see a lot of Will Fuller while Janoris Jenkins should draw duties on DeAndre Hopkins. This matchup greatly benefits Fuller more than Hopkins.

On top of that, Fuller appears to be the straw that stirs the drink in Deshaun Watson's offense. In Watson's nine games, five have been played with Fuller. In those contests, Watson has averaged 35.39 fantasy points, 3.6 touchdowns, and 296.2 yards. By comparison, in four games without Fuller, Watson has averaged 17.4 fantasy points, 1.0 touchdowns, and 176.0 yards passing.

Fuller is a great fit in this offense as a big play threat opposite one of the best technicians in football. Given the matchup and the overall boost that Fuller brings, I like him to outscore Hopkins in Week 3.

Matt Ryan Will Throw for Over 300 Yards with 2 Touchdowns

Count me among the crowd who wrongly thought the New Orleans Saints defense would be stellar in 2018. The Saints have been getting absolutely torched through the air. NumberFire's Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play measures a defense's ability (or inability) to stop the pass on a per-play basis. Thus far in 2018, the two worst performances by a defense in this category both come from the New Orleans Saints.

This week's opponent? Enter Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. Earlier I predicted a tough day on the ground for Tevin Coleman, but it's not the entire Falcons offense that should worry; the passing game should excel. The 52.5-point over/under should lead to a huge day for Matt Ryan in a game where defense is optional.
