After kicking the season off with a monstrous 38.6 FanDuel point performance in Week 1, Alvin Kamara struggled into just 11.9 FanDuel points last week. But he did touch the ball 19 times in Week 2 and came up just 1 yard shy of 100.

Through two weeks he is averaging 9 targets per game, which coincidentally is the same amount that his Week 3 opponent, the Atlanta Falcons, gave up on average to opposing running backs last season. In Week 2, Christian McCaffrey hauled in an absurd 14 catches against the Falcons.

Our models project Kamara to lead all running backs in receiving yards this week (52.5), while finishing with the second-most receptions (5.6) behind only McCaffrey. And with Mark Ingram still suspended for two more weeks, Kamara will continue to handle the bulk of the carries for the New Orleans Saints as well.
