It won't be often that Rob Gronkowski is a guy to avoid this season, but with a tough matchup and a plethora of cheap options at the tight end position, it makes sense so leave him alone at the top tier of pricing on both sites this week.

Gronkowski and the Patriots travel to Jacksonville for a rematch of last years' AFC title game, and weather moving in from Hurricane Florence could be sub-optimal in this one, with high winds and a ton of rain in the forecast. Gronk also has to do battle with a stout Jags' defense that held Eli Manning to a 67.8 quarterback rating in Week 1. The Jaguars held Gronkowski to one catch and 21 yards in their meeting last season, though Gronk only played a half before being knocked out of the game with a concussion.

With Rex Burkhead popping up on the injury report, along with the continued of absence of Julian Edelman due to suspension, it wouldn't be surprising to see Jacksonville shift even more of their defensive focus onto stopping Gronk. With tight ends like Jonnu Smith ($4,200), Jared Cook ($5,000) and George Kittle ($5,600) all in great spots this week at low costs, spending up at the position appears unnecessary, especially given the matchup and the potential for hazardous weather.
