Nelson Agholor, Philadelphia Eagles

Sticking with high-powered offenses, the Philadelphia Eagles boast the third-highest implied point total for the season. It's not a stretch to just assume that teams who score more will run more plays in scoring range, but assuming narratives to be true isn't what we do at numberFire. Here's a look at how points for and red zone snaps have correlated over the past five season:

Teams that run a lot of snaps near the end zone tend to score a lot. Teams that score a lot tend to run a lot of snaps near the end zone. Not groundbreaking, especially if you've been following this series, but certainly worth confirming again.

Projected as one of the league's top-scoring offenses, the Eagles should also be near the top of the pack in red zone snaps this year. That means that even with smaller market shares, Eagles players can get plenty of looks -- basically the opposite of DeVante Parker's situation.

That's not to say that the market share won't be there for Nelson Agholor either, though. His 23.1% share of the Eagles' red zone targets in 2017 was a team-high.

Yes, he's got plenty of competition, as Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz were both just one target behind Agholor last year, but like I said, dominating the market share isn't as important in an offense that figures to run more red zone plays than most. Just being near the top of the heap on his own team should put Agholor in contention for one of the highest red zone target marks in the league.
