Super Bowl LII: 5 Interesting Prop Bets to Target

Will the Team That Scores First Win? NO (+150)

This bet is a bit of an odd one. We won't know who receives the ball until after the coin toss. However, we know if the Patriots win the coin toss, they are likely to defer. Head coach Bill Belichick almost always defers because he wants the opportunity to score before halftime and then receive the kickoff to start the second half.

If the Eagles score first, it's not a guarantee that they win. A 25-point lead wasn't enough to stop the Pats last season, you know.

Another trend in our favor is that New England has not scored a single first-quarter point Tom Brady's seven Super Bowl appearances. That stat is baffling considering that the Pats are 5-2 during this reign of dominance.

With the likely deferment on the Pats' winning of the coin toss and their history of starting slow in Super Bowl games, this bet makes sense.
