Depending upon Devonta Freeman's status for Saturday, Tevin Coleman could end up being a critical value play that helps fit those high-priced guys into your lineups.

Freeman appears on track to play after missing some practice time early in the week, but should that outlook change come this weekend, Coleman would be locked in for major usage in a projected high-scoring game. The Rams-Falcons game has a 48.5-point over/under, tied with the Saints and Panthers for the highest projected total on the week.

In the two games Freeman missed earlier this year -- Weeks 11 and 12 -- Coleman saw at least 19 touches in each. The matchup is great for Falcons' running backs as well. The Rams finished the season as the third-worst run defense, per numberFire metrics.

Even if Freeman plays, Coleman is an intriguing play, averaging 11 touches in the 13 games in which he and Freeman have shared the field.
