Malcolm Brown may be a popular play this week as the Rams will be resting many starters -- including Todd Gurley -- with their playoff positioning locked up. With Gurley on the sideline, it should be Brown carrying the load for the Rams in a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Playing Brown is purely based on his opportunity as his numbers playing behind Gurley are middling -- 49 carries, 192 yards and 1 touchdown. It also remains to be seen how the Rams' offense will perform with Sean Mannion at quarterback. While the offense presumably won't be its explosive self, expecting Brown to see 15 to 20 touches at minimum price is still valuable.
