Mike Davis, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Mike Davis took over lead-back duties for the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. He played 73% of the team's offensive snaps, notching 16 carries and 4 targets.

It doesn't take much to stand out as their top early-down back, with Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy sporting the two lowest Rushing NEP per carry marks among the 64 backs with at least 50 carries. Davis has also looked reasonably good, tallying 101 yards from scrimmage in Week 13.

It's not only one week that has him looking like the team's top back, either -- in Week 11, he played 16 snaps to Lacy's 6. J.D. McKissic, the passing-down back, played the bulk of the snaps in that game, but Seattle was also playing from behind most of the time, leading to a more pass-heavy game flow than we generally see out of them.

The Jacksonville Jaguars' defense is a concerning matchup, though they have been much softer against the run than they have against the pass. They rank 17th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play and allow the 18th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.
