J.D. McKissic, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Yahoo! Ownership: 9%

The Seattle Seahawks' backfield is an absolute mess. C.J. Prosise is on injured reserve, while both Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls have been in and out of the lineup due to injury and ineffectiveness. The only constant has been J.D. McKissic. For the last five games, the second-year back has seen over 38% of the plays and was on the field for 74% of the snaps in Monday night's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. In that game, he saw a career-high 12 touches (7 rushes, 5 catches) for 53 yards. McKissic is seeing his role increase at just the right time with a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on tap for Sunday.

The Niners are a mess defensively, but nowhere is that more apparent than against opposing running backs. San Francisco ranks 31st in the NFL by allowing 133.5 rushing yards per game. They have given up the most fantasy point to running backs, while 10 different tailbacks racked up at least 80 yards against them this season.
