4 FanDuel Defenses to Target in Week 12

Not only has the Jacksonville Jaguars defense been dominant this season, but it's also been drawing some of the softest matchups in recent weeks. Just last week, the Jags played the Cleveland Browns -- one of our favorite targets for opposing defenses -- and they delivered, posting 25 FanDuel points, second best total on the week.

Now the Jaguars travel west to take on Blaine Gabbert and the Arizona Cardinals. Gabbert will be making his second straight start, replacing an injured Drew Stanton. Last week, Gabbert threw 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in a Cardinals 31-21 loss in Houston. He was also sacked twice by the Texans, who finished as the 14th-best defense on FanDuel.

Although Gabbert found some success last week, the going will get much tougher this week against a Jacksonville defense that is the top-ranked unit on the year, per numberFire metrics.

The Jaguars continue to lead the league in a number of key statistical categories, including sacks (40), quarterback hits (77), and turnovers forced (23). From a fantasy perspective, the Jaguars have now finished as a top-5 option in seven of ten games this season.

Last week, the Jaguars were also the most expensive defense on the slate and came through with a big performance. In Week 12, they're in a similar spot and bring a safe floor while carrying enormous upside.
