Latavius Murray, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Week 11 Fantasy Points: 21.6

Latavius Murray was this week's second-best fantasy running back, but his performance wasn't entirely surprising.

The Week 11 betting lines suggested that both Murray and Jerick McKinnon were potentially good options. He's also been getting consistently good volume since Dalvin Cook was lost for the year and has received more rushing attempts than McKinnon in five straight games.

Murray has been successful because the Vikings have the ninth-best offense overall, according to our power rankings. True, most of that ranking is based on their passing acumen, but hey, good offenses get into scoring position, and that helps running backs. Since Week 5, the Vikings are fifth in red zone rushing attempts (19) and third (8) in attempts from within the five-yard line. Murray has capitalized on these opportunities, scoring four touchdowns in those six games.

McKinnon is a better asset because of his receiving work and ability to contribute regardless of the score, but Murray is also worth lineup consideration. He's now posted double-digit points in three of his past four games.
