J.D. McKissic, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football in Week 4, J.D. McKissic jumped onto the fantasy scene with a two-touchdown performance against the Indianapolis Colts. In fact, the Seattle Seahawks running back was seeing his first NFL snaps as C.J. Prosise sat out with an ankle injury.

The converted college wide receiver did not waste any time as he took his first carry 30 yards to the house. McKissic also flashed his hands and his speed, pulling in a twisting 27-yard catch for his second score of the game. With the talent there, the opportunity may follow for McKissic due to a pair of injuries.

After not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, Prosise is in danger of missing another game, potentially leaving the passing-down duties available for McKissic. And with Chris Carson being placed on IR this week, the 'Hawks would be shorthanded in the backfield without Prosise. The uninspiring duo of Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy is the only thing in the way of McKissic earning some change-of-pace or early-down work.

Since the Los Angeles Rams (their Week 5 opponent) are extremely vulnerable against the run -- the Rams are allowing the most fantasy points to opposing running backs -- McKissic could be in line for another big day if Seattle decides to go with a run-heavy approach.
