Jaron Brown Is Legit

Another dude who's getting his fair share of volume: Jaron Brown. Despite seeing zero targets in Week 1, Brown has now racked up double-digit targets in two of the Cardinals' last three games. On Sunday, he compiled 18.5 fantasy points (ESPN standard scoring in PPR leagues), and last week, it was a solid 10.7.

Also encouraging: in the last three games, Brown's 417 air yards -- the number of yards the ball travels through the air from the line of scrimmage to a receiver on each of his targets -- are the 3rd-most in the NFL. (Air yards highlight the potential of a wide receiver, as they include both incomplete and complete targets.)

As Brown's targets are often deep -- through Week 4, his average depth of target is tied for 11th among wide receivers with 15 or more targets -- they are less consistent by nature. But if the volume he's seen over the last three weeks continues, that inconsistency should balance out.

Brown's 6 targets in the red zone are tied for the 3rd-most in the league across any position. He's found paydirt just once this season, but with this sort of volume, a touchdown (or five) is inevitable.
