Lamar Miller is affordable, and the Houston Texans are at home in a contest where the Tennessee Titans are only favored by 1.5 points. This means the Texans should keep this one close, theoretically allowing them to stick with the run for the duration of the contest.

But the trouble is that Miller has been steadily losing his grip on this backfield, which is edging closer and closer to a timeshare with D'Onta Foreman. Miller has seen his share of backfield touches drop in every week (70.4%, 58.3%, 55.6%), while Foreman has crept upward (3.7%, 33.3%, 37.0%). The pendulum is swinging in production, as well -- Miller garnered 63 yards from scrimmage in Week 3 (15 touches), while Freeman outdid him with 90 yards (11).

Furthermore, Houston's matchup against Tennessee doesn't stand out as a noteworthy spot to attack with running backs. The Titans are average against the run by numberFire's metrics, ranking 16th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry. Also, when excluding quarterbacks and wide receivers, the Titans have only allowed 215 rushing yards and 1 touchdown to opposing running backs this season.
