Trevor Siemian came back down to earth last week as the Denver Broncos lost to Buffalo. While his 259 passing yards represented the most in a game for him this season, he failed to find the end zone and was picked off twice, leading to a passer rating of 58.2.

That said, we need to have short memories in DFS. Last week is last week, and Siemian gets to return to Denver to face a much more forgiving opponent in the Oakland Raiders. Oakland is one of the worst teams against the pass, ranking 30th in our schedule-adjusted metrics.

Despite his poor outing in Week 3, the Broncos' quarterback is still a QB1 in points per game on DraftKings. Siemian performed adequately against the Raiders in 2016, scoring 17.32 and 14.34 points, respectively, in their first and second meetings. We expect a similar performance this week, projecting him for a score of 17.2 points. That may not win you a tournament, but it will give you a solid foundation on which to build your cash lineups.
