Zeke Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys

DraftKings Price: $7,800
Projected Points: 19.0

The Dallas Cowboys have an extremely difficult matchup in Week 2, as they are traveling to face the Denver Broncos. It's never an easy decision to choose someone facing the Broncos' defense, particularly in Denver, but that's what makes Zeke a fantastic play for GPPs.

In Week 1, the Broncos held Melvin Gordon to 54 yards rushing on 18 carries. He did manage to score a receiving touchdown and caught 5 of his 6 targets for 25 receiving yards. He finished with 18.9 DraftKings points, which were the 10th-most points by a running back in Week 1.

Ezekiel Elliott is a true workhorse for the Cowboys. In 2016, he had 321 carries (most in the NFL) and finished with 38 red zone carries (ninth-most in the NFL). Dallas is going to feed him the ball, and as Gordon proved in Week 1, running backs can still score points against the Broncos.

As the offense will probably have trouble passing the football, Elliott will likely be relied upon to carry the offense against the front seven of the Broncos. We have Ezekiel projected for 92.19 rushing yards and 27.58 receiving yards.

As our second highest projected running back on DraftKings (19.0 points), he will be a nice contrarian option and is worth the $2,000 you save by fading Le'Veon Bell.
