Austin Hooper, TE, Atlanta Falcons

NFL.com Start Percentage: 1.5%

Week 1 Fantasy Points: 18.80

Austin Hooper garnered just two targets in Week 1, but boy, did he make them count. He caught both balls thrown his way and turned them into 128 yards and a touchdown.

Hooper is a second-year player with just 14 games under his belt, so there's not much of a track record here. This was just his sixth career game with 2 or more targets, and his second game with more than 50 yards receiving.

Coming into the season, Hooper had some appeal as a sleeper. Even so, our rest-of-season projections have Hooper as the TE18. So why the big game in Week 1? Chalk it up to the matchup, as the Bears were one of the worst teams against tight ends last year.

Conclusion: The important thing here is that Hooper garnered just two targets. Unless he starts seeing more volume, it's not reasonable to expect big fantasy totals on a regular basis, even in a potent offense. Hooper is an intriguing young talent who could be startable depending on the matchup, but don't expect a dominant season.
