David Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $9,400
Projected Points: 21.6

Looking at last season as a whole, the player with the highest percentage of his team's touches was David Johnson, who accounted for a whopping 39.90% of the Arizona Cardinals combined targets and carries. He turned that large workload into an astounding 1,239 rushing yards and 879 receiving yards.

That left him just 121 receiving yards shy of becoming only the third player in NFL history to hit the 1,000 yard mark in both rushing and receiving in a single season, which he has already listed as one of his goals for 2017.

He has the third-safest floor of any player on this slate, having racked up at least 12 FanDuel points in 15 of 16 games last season and topping 20 FanDuel points in 11 of them. That type of consistency is enough to overpower the risk of playing a guy against the Detroit Lions, who allowed the fewest FanDuel points per game to opposing starting running backs last season despite not having a very good overall defense (one of the worst in the league, per our metrics).

DJ's ceiling is also the third-best among all players as he eclipsed 30 FanDuel points five times in 2016.

Johnson's high market share gives him both safety and upside, making him an elite player worth spending up for.
