Giovani Bernard, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

While Joe Mixon has been receiving all the fanfare -- and has had a much steeper price tag -- all offseason, Giovani Bernard still sits ahead of Mixon on the Cincinnati Bengals' depth chart, and he's still in line to see the bulk of the passing-down work out of the backfield.

Bernard's 2016 season was cut short by injury, but he posted some encouraging numbers when he did play, averaging 12.2 fantasy points per game (his 16-game pace of 195.7 would have ranked 17th among running backs). He was also one of the busiest receiving backs in the league, ranking 4th in target market share of his team's targets and 12th in air-yard market share.

Getting a workload like that, Bernard should not be on nearly as many waiver wires as he is (especially in PPR leagues). Even in a tough matchup with what will likely be a stout Baltimore Ravens run defense, his ability to contribute through the air makes him a solid play this week.
