LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots

Rushing Success Rate: 37.46% (299 rushes, 112 successes)

LeGarrette Blount led the NFL with 18 rushing touchdowns and posted a career-high 1,161 rushing yards. So how could he possibly be on this list?

Chill, New England Patriots fans, you got another ring. This list is not about touchdowns or yards, it's about numberFire’s Success Rate metric. And because Blount had such a huge workload (299 carries), his success rate for the season is low because he’s not the kind of back who racks up a ton of yards per carry (he averaged 3.8 on the season).

Blount is the only running back on this list who recorded 100-plus rush successes, but he also had more attempts than any other player listed. Fantasy owners will take the bevy of touchdowns over a low Success Rate any day, and I’m willing to bet that Patriots fans feel the same way.
