Tom Brady - Total Rushing Yards: UNDER 2.5 Yards (-105)

There are always a handful of prop bets that will make you laugh and this is one of them. This prop could easily be swung with one QB sneak, but we are going to bet against that happening based on Tom Brady's history as a rusher.

When you think of the 39-year-old, the term "rushing threat" doesn't come to mind. The counter-argument is the undeniable success of Brady on sneaks on downs where only a yard is needed for a first down or a touchdown.

So, let's say Brady sneaks two or three times and eclipses the 2.5-yard mark. Easy win, right? Not necessarily. Keep in mind that kneel downs count against his rushing total. If you assume the Patriots will win, there is a good chance he will kneel the ball one or more times at the end of the game.

In his last Super Bowl game versus the Seattle Seahawks, Brady only had two rushing attempts for minus-three yards. Those two "attempts" were actually kneel downs at the end of the game.

The last time Brady ran for more than 2.5 yards in a Super Bowl was in 2003 when we was just 25 years old. In the four Super Bowls since then, he's rushed just three times for minus-four yards. In two of those games, he did not attempt a rush.

During the 2016 season, Brady rushed for more than 2.5 yards in 6 out of 16 games.

With a short-yardage back like LeGarrette Blount, there is almost no reason for the Pats to risk injury with a Brady rush, especially in the biggest game of the year.
