Spencer Ware, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

FanDuel Price: $6,900

When Spencer Ware has been healthy, the Kansas City Chiefs have not been shy about giving him the ball. He has recorded at least 17 touches in five of his last six games, with the only exception being Week 16, when he played fewer than 50% of snaps because of a rib injury.

A quick look at the betting odds make it look encouraging for the Chiefs. The Pittsburgh Steelers opened as one-point favorites, and despite money on that line having come in evenly and the majority of the moneyline bets having come in on the Steelers, it's shifted to favoring the Chiefs.

Being small favorites doesn't guarantee a run-heavy game-script, but it is encouraging that this matchup will likely at least stay close, making it unlikely Kansas City will be forced into pass-heavy play-calling.

Our metrics have the Steelers in the middle-of-the-pack against the run, and they have the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs -- the second most among the eight remaining playoff teams.

Running back isn't especially deep this week, and with the majority of the viable cheap backs being pass-catchers that aren't too appealing with FanDuel's 0.5 PPR scoring, Ware is a great way to save a bit of cap space at the position.
