Start Fitzgerald Toussaint as a Favorite

You meant Larry Fitzgerald, right? Who is this Toussaint guy?

Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has already made it clear he is resting Le'Veon Bell and others this weekend. This leaves the running back position open to veteran DeAngelo Williams and Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Williams had knee surgery on November 10th and has not seen any snaps since then, even though he was active against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day. It wouldn't make much sense for Tomlin to have him shoulder the load in a meaningless game versus the Cleveland Browns.

Toussaint, who only has 5.8 fantasy points on FanDuel this season, is likely to take on the bell cow role, which is a role he served in the Wild Card round of the playoffs last season against the Bengals. Everyone now refers to that game as "Fitz and the Tantrums" because Toussaint gained more than 100 total yards and the Bengals blew the game by throwing tantrums.

OK, maybe I just made that nickname up. Either way, Toussaint has some experience.

The Steelers are favored by six points even with the absence of superstars like Bell, Antonio Brown, and Ben Roethlisberger.

Toussaint is priced at the FanDuel minimum of $4,500. I would not play him in cash games due to the ambiguity of his situation, but he makes for the perfect tournament play.
