Tight Ends

High-Cost Option: Greg Olsen ($5,200)

This is a great week for tight end matchups, and leading the way at the top of the pricing is Greg Olsen. Olsen has had seven or more targets in six of his last seven games, but he has only scored one touchdown over that span. He could get back on track this week against an Atlanta Falcons defense that is allowing the seventh-most red zone trips to opposing offenses. Atlanta has struggled defending opposing tight ends this season, ranking in the bottom 10 in most receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and fantasy points allowed to the position. Olsen leads all tight ends this season in Reception NEP and has a 22.7 percent target market share, pacing the Carolina Panthers in receptions, targets and receiving yards.

Mid-Cost Option: Cameron Brate ($3,900)

Tampa Bay has been in need of a secondary target for Jameis Winston for much of the season, and over the second half of the year, Cameron Brate has emerged as a reliable target and red zone weapon. Brate has scored five times over the last eight weeks, leading the team in red zone targets and red zone touchdowns over that span. In fact, only Jordy Nelson has more red zone touchdowns than Brate this season. Brate takes on a New Orleans defense that is allowing the seventh-most red zone trips per game to opposing offenses (tied with Atlanta) and ranks 25th in FootballOutsiders' DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) against opposing tight ends. Over the past three weeks, Brate has just as many targets as Mike Evans (22), and he has some high touchdown equity to pursue given this game's 52-point over/under.

Low-Cost Option: Charles Clay ($3,200)

We're finally getting to see a healthy Charles Clay in this Buffalo offense. Clay has put up 10 catches for 124 yards and 2 scores over his last two games. Miami is allowing the sixth-most receiving touchdowns and ranks in the top 12 in most tight end targets and fantasy points allowed. The return of Sammy Watkins has forced defenses to key on the dynamic receiver, allowing plenty of room in the middle of the field for Clay. This isn't a week where you're necessarily forced to go cheap at tight end, but Clay offers some quality upside with his recent play and is an interesting punt play.
