As you can see, there's quite a drop-off from Tomlinson to the next guy. That being said, DeAngelo Williams had a great season of his own in his Carolina Panthers days.

In his third season in the league, Williams ran for 1,515 yards and 18 touchdowns on 273 carries. That's an average of 5.5 yards per tote, 94.7 yards per game and a touchdown for every 15 carries. For being so heavily relied on, Williams was highly efficient.
