The Detroit Lions held Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints to 13 points at the Superdome in Week 13, by far their lowest scoring output at home on the year. This week, the Lions host Matt Barkley and the Chicago Bears.

Jordan Howard has developed into a stud running back and Barkley has played reasonably well since being inserted into the starting lineup two weeks ago. He hasn't really been tested yet, though, playing the Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers at home. According to numberFire, the Titans and 49ers both rank in the bottom half of the league in terms of pass defense.

This matchup features a 43.5-point over/under, with the Lions listed as an eight-point favorite. Since their Week 10 bye, Detroit has finished as a top-12 defense in each of the past three weeks, totaling seven turnovers during that span.
