LeGarrette Blount Leads the NFL with 12 Rushing Touchdowns

Despite already having his bye week, LeGarrette Blount has run for at least three more touchdowns than any other player this season. He has scored on the ground in eight of nine games for an average of 1.33 rushing touchdowns per game.

He eclipsed his previous career high of seven rushing touchdowns and is currently on pace for 21.33 rushing touchdowns over a full 16-game season, which would tie him for the sixth-most in a single season in NFL history. The last player to reach 20 or more rushing touchdowns in a season was Ladainian Tomlinson back in 2006 when he set the NFL record with 28.

Blount gets a dream matchup in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers, who have allowed opposing running backs to rack up 13 total rushing touchdowns over their past seven games.
