Arizona Cardinals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Over/Under: 50.0
Cardinals Implied Team Total: 28.25
Buccaneers Implied Team Total: 21.75

Coming in with the second-highest over/under on the slate, the game script in this matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could dictate some intriguing plays.

David Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $9,000

David Johnson and the Cardinals currently sit on the third-highest implied team total on the slate, as well as the second-largest spread as 6.5-point favorites. In three career games as a starter that the Cardinals have been at least 6.5-point favorites, Johnson has been trusted with 19 touches per game, which he has turned into 127 yards and 18.7 FanDuel points per outing. The most recent of said games came last week against the New England Patriots, in which Johnson put up a combined 132 yards and 1 score on 20 touches.

FanDuel has taken Johnson's advantageous game script into account, listing him as easily the most expensive back on the slate. However, if the game script ends up favoring Johnson as the Vegas line implies it will, Johnson will have a good chance to pay off his restrictive salary.

Charles Sims, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

FanDuel Price: $5,600

The Bucs find themselves in a tough matchup against Arizona's impressive defensive unit this week, but the game script actually sets up well for Charles Sims. If you're still unfamiliar with his ability as a pass-catcher, then apparently you weren't watching football last weekend as Sims temporarily broke football twitter after taking a dump off pass to the house and breaking six tackles along the way.

With Tampa Bay projected to be down big in this one, they may turn to Sims instead of Doug Martin more often than a normal game script would dictate as they try to play catch-up. Against a blitz-happy Arizona D/ST that gave up the third-highest yards per target to opposing running backs in 2015, Sims could find himself open often on quick passes.

Sims is nothing more than a tournament dart-throw, but pairing him with David Johnson actually makes some sense if you expect Arizona to get up early and force a game script in which the Cardinals go run-heavy and the Bucs go pass-heavy.

Others to Consider

Since the beginning of last season, Carson Palmer has averaged 6 less FanDuel points in games the Cardinals were at least 6.5-point favorites, while Michael Floyd and John Brown have seen sizable dropoffs, as well. Larry Fitzgerald is the only Cardinal who has remained fairly game script independent during that time.

On the other side of the ball, Jameis Winston is coming off of a huge game and could be an interesting tournament play, even against Arizona's defense. Both he and Mike Evans have been fairly productive when listed as at least 6.5-point underdogs in their careers, with Evans actually averaging nearly two more FanDuel points (14.3) in such instances.
