A.J. Green Tied His Previous Career High With 12 Receptions

With Tyler Eifert sidelined, A.J. Green received 43.33% of the Andy Dalton’s targets in Week 1 – the highest target market share of any player in the NFL. The only other time he had 12 receptions in a game was back in Week 12 of the 2014 season.

This week, it was enough to lead the NFL, and his 180 receiving yards were also more than any other player. He added a touchdown to lead all wide receivers with 24 fantasy points.

Making all of this even more impressive is the fact that eight of his catches came while being covered by Darrelle Revis.

Green will have a great opportunity to continue this success in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who allowed DeSean Jackson to go over 100 yards on Monday night.
