The second rookie to make his place in the NFL known this weekend was Will Fuller. While not as high priority of a waiver add as Sharpe is, Fuller's role as the number-two receiver in Houston could be very lucrative if his performance on Sunday is any indication.

Fuller was drafted in the first round by the Texans to secure some much needed help for DeAndre Hopkins, who frequently had to battle double teams due to the lack of an imposing receiving threat across from him. To that end, it seems as if the Texans’ gamble on Fuller is paying off.

Fuller's specialty is his speed; his 4.32-second 40-yard dash is stupid fast. As deep-threat receivers tend to be, Fuller was very efficient in his first outing, putting up an impressive 10.74 Reception NEP on 11 targets in his professional debut. And putting up a 5-catch, 107-yard outing seems impressive until you realize that he was open for another 83-yard touchdown pass that he dropped, so his debut could have been in legendary terrain. And while drops have been an issue with Fuller in the past, his playmaking ability far outweighs those concerns for real and fantasy football purposes.

While one shouldn’t expect Fuller to out-target Hopkins all that often, his role as the number-two receiver in this offense should make him a priority waiver add due to the fact that he can blow the top off of defenses and should see a lot of single coverage this season. If you can't get your hands on Sharpe due to your place in the waiver order, make sure Fuller is following him up in your priority list.
