Buddy Hield, Oklahoma Sooners

A few months ago Buddy Hield was the clear frontrunner for the Wooden Award. Two months later, not much has changed.

After a 25-7 regular season, the two-time Big 12 Player of the Year is taking his Sooners to the Big Dance to compete for a national championship. To say he's the leader of this Oklahoma team would be an understatement. Hield is averaging 25 of the Sooners' 80.4 points per game while accounting for 6.7 Win Shares on the season.

His elite offensive attack, powered by his 4 three-pointers per game on 46.4% shooting from long range, has proven nearly unstoppable, as Hield has been held below 20 points in just eight instances this season. To put that into perspective, he's scored at least 30 in 10 games this season -- he's more likely to hang 30 on you than to be held to average standards.

There's no doubt that the secret is out on what makes Buddy Hield so special. The question is, "Can you stop it?"
