Team on the Decline: Florida State Seminoles

It was going to be hard for Florida State to top last season after reaching their highest ranking in the polls since 1992-93 and posting their best winning percentage since 1975-76, but the key losses they suffered would be hard for any team to withstand. The Seminoles lost their three leading scorers from last year, Dwayne Bacon, Jonathan Isaac, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes, all of whom left early for the NBA draft.

The use of a deep rotation last season and the addition of a couple ESPN Top-100 recruits will help Florida State from crashing all the way back down to earth, but it will be a tall task for this roster to sniff the success last year's squad accomplished. The two key freshmen are five-star recruit M.J. Walker, who should be able to pick up a good chunk of the scoring responsibility immediately, and center Ikey Obiagu, who should help replace some of the length they lost with the graduation of Michael Ojo.

Senior guard Terance Mann will be the lone returning starter and only player on the roster who averaged more than 5.0 points per game last season.
