College Basketball Preview: Will Duke Run Away With the ACC?

Player to Watch: Bonzie Colson

Notre Dame senior forward Bonzie Colson is the ACC's best returning player and can certainly stuff a stat sheet to help his team win. Colson was named a second-team preseason All American after averaging 17.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game a year ago for a Fighting Irish team that finished second in the ACC.

He may look undersized for a "big" at 6-foot-6, but a 225-pound frame allows Colson grab a ton of rebounds for his height. He has the ability to score from all over the court and should likely improve on his scoring averages from last season.

After losing two of his top four scoring teammates from a year ago, the opportunity for Colson to become the big man on campus, no pun intended, is there to be had.
