2. Kevin Love, UCLA Bruins (2007-08)

Like Curry, Kevin Love was victim to the Hansbrough season. He was also partially overshadowed by the hype that surrounded Russell Westbrook, but his numbers tell us just how awesome he was in his single season at UCLA.

The 6'10" freshman yielded 17.5 points on a true shooting percentage of 64.4% with 10.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks a game. Love led the Bruins and the nation with 11.3 win shares while averaging .391 win shares per 40 minutes.

In the regular season, the Bruins were explosive with a 35-4 record and 13-2 mark in the Pac-10. They then rolled out four straight wins in the Tournament before Memphis bested them in the Final Four.
