Lonzo Ball (knee) cleared to return for Lakers on Friday, will be on minutes limit

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball (knee) will play against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, head coach Luke Walton said.

What It Means:

This will be Ball's first game since January 13. Walton said the rookie will be on limited minutes after the long layoff and he still hasn't decided if Ball will start or come off the bench. His return figures to mean less usage for the likes of Josh Hart, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Corey Brewer. It remains to be seen how Isaiah Thomas' role will be impacted.

numberFire's models project Lonzo to score 30.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,500 on Friday.
