NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Monday 2/7/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at two players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Mamadi Diakite, PF, Oklahoma City Thunder ($3,900)

The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to be a bit shorthanded, and that opens up some playing time for Mamadi Diakite.

The injuries are starting to pile up for the Thunder, and this has led to Diakite seeing 17, 30, and 24 minutes in his past three games. He's the new starting center for the Thunder and comes in as the top overall value option on the slate. Diakite is projected for 26.00 minutes and 22.7 FanDuel points, making him a clear guy to target tonight.

When we account for all of the injuries on the Thunder, Diakite is holding a modest 15.1% offensive usage rate but is producing 0.95 FanDuel points per minute. Although this game against the Golden State Warriors has a 13.0-point spread, his consistency on a per-minute basis will allow him to reach and exceed his salary-based value tonight.

Bojan Bogdanovic, SF/PF, Utah Jazz ($5,100)

The Utah Jazz have a great matchup tonight and shouldn't be going overlooked.

As 8.0-point home favorites, the Jazz are set to take on the New York Knicks with a solid 219.0-point over/under. At first glance, this game doesn't jump off the page for fantasy production because both teams are in the bottom 10 in offensive pace, but a player like Bojan Bogdanovic could still reach fantasy value. The Knicks come into this game allowing their opponents to make 13.0 three-pointers per game, which is the ninth-most in the league.

Bogdanovic has attempted five three-pointers or more in five of his last 10 games, with two of those games being at nine attempts or higher. The volume of three-pointers Bogdanovic attempts on a nightly basis gives him strong scoring upside against a defense that struggles to defend them.
