Yesterday's Perfect NBA DFS Lineups: Sunday 1/4/15
With LeBron James unavailable and Kyrie Irving banged up, the Cavaliers were forced to lean heavily on their frontcourt to carry the team last night. Both Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson delivered, with Love scoring a season-high 30 points and Thompson continuing to dominate the glass with 11 rebounds. Irving has already been ruled out for tonight, so perhaps we'll see one or both of these guys back in this column tomorrow.
While the Cavaliers' frontcourt was dominating, there were two other low-cost big men who made the most of their opportunity last night. Zaza Pachulia stayed hot with his second straight double-double, dominating the Knicks to the tune of 16 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
The Bucks' center was a popular play last night given how well he's played as of late, but the other cheap big man I alluded to earlier -- Hassan Whiteside -- came out of no where to post a huge line of his own. Whiteside scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while adding an impressive 5 blocks.
The highest scorer from yesterday's slate was Brandon Jennings, who continues to baffle fantasy owners on a daily basis with his up-and-down play. Jennings put the Pistons on his back yesterday, dropping 35 points and 7 assists on the Kings. His fantasy owners were pretty happy about that performance too.
