3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 4/9/19

The Thunder may have something to play for, sure, but they don't have nearly as much to play for as the Charlotte Hornets. With two games to go, the Hornets sit one game behind the Detroit Pistons for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. That looked nearly impossible a week ago, but Detroit and the Miami Heat have each lost four straight while Charlotte has won three straight, and here we are.

The Hornets swept the Pistons in their four-game series this year and have a better conference record than the Heat, so if they can somehow tie either for the eighth spot, they're in. Every Hornet will be busting their butt to get those last two wins, especially Kemba Walker.

Walker enters tonight's game with a 25.5-point scoring average, the highest of his career by 2.3 points. He's been balling out all season, and he's been especially hot in April as the Hornets have made their run to try and backdoor their way into the postseason. He's putting up 34.3 points in April, 5.7 more than any other month this year.

That probably means a lot of fake points, right? Yup. Walker has put up at least 49.25 DraftKings points in all four April games. He's struggled somewhat against the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, but he put up 50.25 against them the last time they played, and the Hornets will need that type of performance again from him tonight. I'm not betting against him with everything on the line. Are you?
